Getting ThereLocated at 755 Science Rd, East Lansing. Driven travel via personal vehicle is exceptionally smooth; navigate straight to the massive Shaw Lane Parking Ramp situated just a 3-minute walk to the east (complimentary parking is heavily available on weekends). Alternatively, ride CATA Bus Route 24 or 26 directly to the Science Road stop.

- Public star shows run exclusively Friday nights, Saturday nights, and Sunday afternoons; the dome is dedicated entirely to university academic instruction Mon–Thu, barring any tourist walkthroughs.
- Once the projector activates, the dome enters absolute darkness; late arrivals are legally banned from entering to prevent light pollution, and exiting mid-show forfeits re-entry rights.
- A minor cluster of metered slots sits outside, running free on standard weekends; however, on MSU home football game days, flat event rates apply and surrounding access roads face police roadblocks.
