Practical Info
Suggested Duration1-1.5 hours
Best TimeIt's highly recommended to go at dawn sunrise or dusk sunset. Then golden sunlight falls on the stupa hung with colorful prayer flags and the red rock, ethereal and silent—the golden moment for cleansing the soul and deep seated meditation
Getting ThereLocated at the foot of the residential hills in western Sedona. Turn from AZ-89A onto Pueblo Drive and drive to the end to arrive; because the mountain road is narrow and to preserve the quiet practice, there's only a very small free dirt parking lot at the foot
