Getting ThereThis asset shares the identical physical footprint as the Buffalo & Erie County Naval Park located at Canalside. Self-drivers utilize I-190 Exit 7 to reach the waterfront surface parking fields. Leaving the car behind and jumping onto the local NFTA-Metro Light Rail is highly encouraged; disembark at the Erie Canal Harbor platform and walk westward across the pedestrian footbridge straight to the admission kiosks.

- Internal compartments of the USS Croaker and USS The Sullivans feature extremely low clearances and steep ladders; oversized backpacks and rigid long umbrellas are strictly banned onboard.
- The Marine Drive parking lot is permanently closed due to construction; drivers must utilize the Lloyd Street lot or pay for street meters via the Buffalo Roam mobile application.
- Due to the open waterfront layout, pier structures and ship decks experience high winds and sudden chills even in summer; pack a wind-resistant jacket before boarding tours.

- Though next to Canalside, the park's own gift shop is tiny with no dedicated dining spots inside; you must exit the venue to the main street for food or water.
