Overview

Built in 1969 at the intersection of Bush Street and Grant Avenue, this ornate dragon gate marks the southern entrance to San Francisco's Chinatown. In the 1986 film Big Trouble in Little China, Jack Burton drives his "Pork-Chop Express" truck through this gate to kick off the film's adventure.
