One of Death Valley's most celebrated overlooks, perched above Badwater Basin at over 5,000 feet elevation. In the 1977 film Star Wars: A New Hope, this panoramic vista was used to capture the wide establishing shot of the Mos Eisley spaceport as Obi-Wan and Luke look down upon it from a rocky outcrop.
