Fort MacArthur

Overview

A former U.S. Army coastal defense installation in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles, now partly a museum and park. In the 1977 biographical film MacArthur, its military facilities and coastal batteries doubled as the tunnels and defensive positions of Corregidor Island in the Philippines during the early 1942 siege.
