The Greenhorn Valley lies in southern Pueblo County, Colorado just east of Greenhorn Mountain. It includes the communities of Colorado City and Rye. Colorado State Highway 165, part of the Frontier Pathways Scenic Byway, goes through the valley and serves as its main street.

Getting ThereA roadside mountain vista along the scenic bypasses south of Pueblo. To drive, take I-25 S south to Exit 74 at Colorado City. Merge onto state highway CO-165 W (Frontier Pathways Scenic Byway) heading northwest into the mountains. Wind uphill for 12 miles; the paved gravel scenic turnout will appear clearly on your left with official signage.
