Getting ThereLocated at 350 E Galleria Dr, Henderson. Take I-515 S to the Galleria Dr exit and drive straight east, past Boulder Highway, until the road nears its end by the water reclamation facility. Free visitor parking is situated directly outside the nature center entrance.

- To match avian roosting cycles, the preserve closes exceptionally early, often barring entries past 2:00 PM, and severely curtails operating hours during mid-summer spikes.
- To guard nesting avian species, pets (including service animals), drones, bicycles, and scooters are completely barred from the property; walking off marked dikes is banned.
- Bordering water reclamation facilities, noticeable organic odors can surface on hot, windy days; sensitive visitors should wear masks and carry high-magnification binoculars.

- The hours are highly restrictive, often closing fully around noon or 2 PM. Road-trippers used to afternoon or dusk sightseeing easily get locked out due to the early close.
- Due to strict eco-protection rules, outside food and sugary drinks are strictly banned inside—only plain water is allowed. No pets are permitted, reducing family convenience.
