Overview
Legoland Discovery Centre is an indoor family attraction chain originally created by British leisure group Merlin Entertainments and currently owned by The Lego Group. Featuring models and attractions inspired by the Lego building toys, the Discovery Centres are smaller and indoor versions of the Legoland theme parks located around the world. In September 2025, The Lego Group announced that it would take full control of the chain from Merlin, who will continue to operate the Legoland amusement parks under licence.

Best TimeA spectacular fully indoor Lego-themed interactive play sanctuary perfect for any season. The most strategic visiting window is weekday afternoons (Monday through Thursday) from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. This perfectly avoids the heavy morning toddler rushes, leaving the breathtaking Columbus Miniland replica and laser rides completely open for unhurried family exploration.
Getting ThereHoused inside the premier retail district at Easton Town Center (157 Easton Town Ctr). Driving a car is your best option: park explicitly inside the East Garage multi-story parking structure which sits immediately adjacent to the entertainment wing, taking the short indoor pedestrian bridge doors straight into the Lego ticketing concourse.
Travel Tips
- Adult policy restriction: Single adults are barred from standard daytime entry unless accompanied by a child. Purchase dedicated 'Adult Night' passes instead.
- Daytime operational slots require online time-stamping. The gate box office retains zero walk-up vacancies during peak family holiday operational windows.
- Situated on the second level of the indoor mall hub, park directly within the North Garage deck to minimize extensive pedestrian navigation with toddlers.
Reviews
Positive
- The perfect indoor playground for youth! The Miniland replicating Columbus landmarks out of millions of bricks features staggering detail.
- Includes two fun indoor ride systems and an awesome 4D cinema with wind and mist effects, keeping kids thrilled for 3 to 4 hours straight.
- The all-indoor layout eliminates weather variables; structures carry anti-collision padding, and restrooms feature low youth-sized sinks.
- Situated right inside the massive Easton Town Center mall; parking is abundant and free, allowing easy dining and retail combinations.
Heads up
- Per safety policies, adults without accompanying minors are strictly barred from entry (except for specific adult nights), disappointing solo Lego fans.
- Ticket prices sit on the higher side relative to the modest indoor square footage, and the gift shop items carry full MSRP with zero discounts.
- Weekends and school breaks bring immense crowds; ride queues stall out, and standard loose brick pits get messy and incredibly loud.
- The on-site cafe counter serves only basic chilled pre-made grab-and-go sandwhiches and junk snacks at inflated prices.
