Overview
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, a major U.S. Navy shipbuilding and repair facility since 1891. In the 1977 biographical film MacArthur, the production used the real historic battleship USS Missouri, docked here, to film the historic scene of Japan's formal surrender on September 2, 1945.
