Will Rogers Gardens is a 30-acre (12 ha) park in Oklahoma City located at the corner of 36th Street and Portland Avenue. The park is one of the city's historic parks and is open year-round. Will Rogers Gardens features the Charles E. Sparks Rose Garden, a 7-acre (2.8 ha) arboretum and a conservatory with a cacti and succulent collection.

Getting ThereLocated at 3400 NW 36th St in northwest OKC. Drive via Interstate 44 to Exit 123 (NW 36th St), head west for just two blocks, and turn right directly into the park's entrance lanes. Multiple free asphalt parking lots dot the arboretum edges. EMBARK Bus Route 8 stops within walking distance.
Travel Tips
- Admission is free; outdoor grounds close at 8:00 PM from April to September but contract sharply to 5:00 PM from October to March, at which time the main vehicle gates are padlocked without warnings.
- The landmark Ed Lycan Conservatory operates strictly on weekdays; weekend general access is denied, and the sensitive century-old desert cacti collections completely ban large professional rucksacks.
