Brigham City is a historic city located in southeastern Box Elder County, beautifully positioned at the western base of the Wellsville Mountains on the edge of the Great Salt Lake Valley. Founded in 1851 by Mormon pioneer Lorenzo Snow, who later became president of the LDS Church, the city was meticulously planned as a self-sufficient cooperative community centered around agriculture and manufacturing. Famous across the region for its world-class stone fruit orchards, Brigham City retains its iconic, tree-lined historic Main Street under a monumental neon arch, while serving as a strategic hub for aerospace engineering and migratory bird conservation.
