Centre Hall achieved widespread national heritage recognition as the long-time home of the historic Grange Encampment and Fair, one of the last remaining and largest traditional tenting fairs in the United States, dating back to 1874. Today, the town preserves a quiet midwestern-style charm interwoven with beautiful architectural landmarks and rich agricultural traditions.
