Discovered dynamically in 1842 by dairy farmer Lester Howe, who noticed his cows congregating near a mysterious cold breeze on hot summer days, it became one of America's earliest developed commercial show caves. Positioned flatly beneath rolling pastoral farmlands, the active cave corridor features sweeping stalactite arrays, underground river deltas, and massive carved prehistoric chambers.
